Life Time State Privacy Notice at Collection and Privacy Rights
Effective Date: July 29, 2025
Certain states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia require additional information regarding our privacy practices and your privacy rights. Depending on whether you are a resident of those states (“Consumer”), we provide you additional notices about our privacy practices and consumer rights relating to your personal information or personal data, as defined under those laws (“Personal Information”).
Life Time, Inc., and its Life Time branded affiliates and subsidiaries, including, without limitation, Life Time Digital, LLC (collectively, “Life Time,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this State Privacy Notice at Collection and Privacy Rights (the “State Privacy Notice”) to supplement the information contained in the Life Time Privacy Policy. Any terms not defined in this State Privacy Notice are defined in the Life Time Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict between the State Privacy Notice and the Life Time Privacy Policy, the disclosures in this State Privacy Notice shall apply.
Where we specifically identify certain states, these additional disclosures apply to residents in those states.

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) and privacy laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Nebraska, New Jersey, Texas, Utah, and Virginia afford consumers residing in those states certain rights with respect to their Personal Information. If you are a California resident, including a business contact of one of our vendors or other type of business which transacts with Life Time (collectively, “CA Business Contact”), or a Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Nebraska, New Jersey, Texas, Utah, and Virginia resident, this section applies to you.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may collect Personal Information from you in a variety of different situations, including, but not limited to our Site, your mobile device, through email, in physical locations, through the mail, over the telephone, and/or in any other situation where we interact with you. More specifically, Life Time collects the following categories of Personal Information from its Consumers, which will depend on the particular Business Purpose for which we collect it:

We may collect the Personal Information that you provide about other individuals in certain cases. For example, we may collect information about other individuals from your contact list, with your permission, from your mobile device for the purposes of enabling you to easily share guest passes, event invitations, and more. By providing such information, you are representing that you have the required permissions and consents to disclose such information.
Personal Information does not include deidentified information or aggregate consumer information.
Life Time obtains the categories of Personal Information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from you. For example, from forms you complete or products and services you purchase, or when you communicate with us about our ongoing business relationship.
- Indirectly from you. For example, from observing your actions on our Website or from information your computer or mobile device transmits when interacting with our Website or Apps, among other things.
- Third parties. If you choose to connect and integrate our products and services with social media or other third-party applications, such as Google and Apple Health Kit, so that we can provide you with products and services that you request, we may collect Personal Information from those social media and third-party applications that disclose it to us.
- When you connect your account to these social media or third-party applications, Life Time may also request permission to access your information, including, without limitation, your name, profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends, and any other public information linked to your account on that application. For more information, please see Section 10 of the Life Time Privacy Policy.
DISCLOSURES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR A BUSINESS PURPOSE
In the preceding twelve (12) months, Life Time has disclosed the following categories of Personal Information for a business purpose to the following categories of recipients:

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will not retain your Personal Information for longer than is reasonably necessary to carry out the purposes we disclose in this policy.
Information Relevant to California and Other States
TARGETED ADVERTISING AND CALIFORNIA SALES AND SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
- California: The CPRA requires that we notify you if we “Share” your Personal Information with third parties. For purposes of the CPRA, “Sharing” means that we make available or otherwise disclose your information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, such as targeting of advertising to you based on your Personal Information obtained from your activity across businesses, websites, apps, and services other than our Services.
The CPRA also provides for certain disclosures about Personal Information we “sell,” which means certain scenarios in which Life Time has disclosed Personal Information with third parties or affiliates, in exchange for valuable consideration, which could include situations where we “Share” your personal information as described above for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- In the preceding twelve (12) months, Life Time has “sold” or “shared” your Personal Information, including identifiers and internet or other network activity, to the extent “Sharing” is considered a “sale” (as described above).
- Other States: Similarly, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia require that we notify you if we use your information for Targeted Advertising. “Targeted Advertising” means displaying advertisements to you where the advertisement is selected based on Personal Information obtained from your activities over time and across non-affiliated websites or online applications to predict your preferences or interests.
As described in the table above, we use and disclose your Personal Information for Targeted Advertising.
We do not engage in sales, sharing, or targeted advertising using Personal Information about consumers we know to be under the age of sixteen (16), or a higher age in accordance with applicable law.

SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Privacy laws in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia specify certain rights with respect to our collection of certain information that such laws designate as “Sensitive Data” or “Sensitive Personal Information” (collectively, “Sensitive Personal Information”). We obtain consent to collect that information in those states where consent is required. Moreover, each state’s privacy laws may consider different pieces of information to be Sensitive Personal Information. When we notify residents of certain states that we collect Sensitive Personal Information, that means that we collect Sensitive Personal Information within the meaning of the law of that particular state. We collect Sensitive Personal Information in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. We collect the types of Sensitive Personal Information, to the extent included in your state’s definition, listed above in the Categories of Personal Information we collect. We do not use Sensitive Personal Information to infer characteristics about you.
GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL
You can also opt out of certain sharing and sales by visiting our Services with a recognized universal choice signal enabled (such as the Global Privacy Control). Please note that, depending on which opt-out preference signal you use, our processing of the signal may be limited to the specific browser or device that you are using. You may need to renew your opt-out if you use a different browser or device to access our Services.
YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Subject to certain limitations and depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to: (1) request to know more about the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, and sell, and to access your information, including in a portable format, (2) request deletion of your Personal Information collected from or about you, which may include derived data, (3) request correction of your Personal Information, (4) opt out of any “sales, or “sharing” of your Personal Information that may be occurring or uses of your Personal Information for targeted advertising; (5) request a list of specific third parties to whom we disclosed your Personal Information or any Personal Information; and (6) not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Only you, or a person authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. If we receive your request from an authorized agent and they do not provide a valid power of attorney, we may ask the authorized agent to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request to exercise rights on your behalf. In the absence of a valid power of attorney, we may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us or confirm to us that you otherwise provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. You may appeal a decision relating to your consumer privacy rights request by contacting us at 1-877-583-7866 or at privacy@lt.life. The privacy@lt.life email address is intended only for appeals and general inquiries, and we will NOT respond to consumer rights requests submitted to this email address. If you would like to submit a verifiable consumer rights request, please do so via one of the two designated methods described above. If you have concerns about the result of an appeal, you may contact the attorney general in the state where you reside.
NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE
We provide discounts, rewards, exclusive offers, or other benefits to customers who sign up to join our LifeShop Rewards Program or who participate in a promotional campaign. These offerings may constitute “financial incentives” or “bona fide loyalty programs” under certain state privacy laws (for simplicity, we refer to these collectively as “financial incentives”). If you decide to participate in a financial incentive, we collect personal information from you, such as identifiers (like your name, email address), commercial information (like purchase history), and inferences (collected through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies, like products viewed).
Life Time uses your Information to facilitate the Rewards Program and to improve its business. We may disclose this Information to our service providers, contractors, and consultants who perform services on our behalf. Service providers may include, without limitation, entities such as analytics service providers, cloud-hosting services, account-related services (including updating of financial information and communications related to collections), database service providers, and backup and disaster recovery service providers. Additional entities may include our marketing and advertising partners, including for the purpose of engaging in targeted advertising and other marketing activities. We do not share or sell personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
You can opt into a financial incentive by following the sign-up or participation instructions provided, and you have the ability to opt-out at any time by following the instructions set forth in the applicable loyalty program or promotional campaign or contacting us at shop@lifetime.life. If you request that we delete any of your personal information that is essential to providing you with the financial incentive, we will not be able to provide you with the benefits of that program (e.g., if you ask us to delete your email address, we will no longer be able to provide you with the LifeShop points).
In some cases, we may provide additional terms and conditions, which we will provide to you when you sign up. The value of your personal information is reasonably related to the value of the offer or discount presented to you.
CHANGES TO OUR STATE-SPECIFIC PRIVACY NOTICE
We may change this privacy notice from time to time. If we make changes to this privacy notice, we will notify you by revising the Effective Date at the top of this policy and in, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice, such as adding a statement of notice on the App and Website or sending you a notification. We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
